As more of us have additional free time and extra income we are choosing to travel to other countries and experience other cultures. What many travelers do not stop and think about is some other countries have even more crime than we do. Once you add in language barriers and the fact criminals like to target tourists and self defense techniques to take care of yourself abroad become even more important than ever.
