Engaging The Attacker With Self Defense

While it would be nice to be able to talk your way out of any situation in order to avoid the unpleasant experience of an attack, most criminals will not take the time to listen. This means that you must engage the attacker in order to bring the confrontation to a conclusion if you do not want to give into their demands. In some cases giving in is not even  an option since some criminals do not want to leave a witness to their crime. But before engaging that attacker it is important to know that your training was not just a combat training scam and is totally ineffective at stopping an encounter.
